Don’t Get Scammed For Your Credit Report
If your thinking about getting your credit report and have never done so before you may want to read this article. You may have seen all of these television ads, and websites being bragged up around the internet that they could offer you free or cheap credit scores.
In this article I will show you why almost all of these sites are fakes and why their is only one real website out there for you to get a cheap credit report and score from.
Where To Get Your Credit Report From
The only place you should get your credit report from is Annual Credit Report dot com. The reason for this is because they are the official website for giving you your credit report and was actually set up by the three major crediting bureaus, Experian, Trans Union, and Equifax.
Every other site out there may or may not be a fake. The reason for this is most other sites will either get most of the information from Annual Credit Report or they may not get it from there at all, which means some of them may be scamming you by giving you bogus credit information.
On top of that if you are not careful you could over pull your credit report from some of these sites. In fact you are only allowed to pull each of your three credit reports once a year.
That’s why I suggest you stay with Annual Credit Report, the real source for your credit report.
A Final Thought…
As a final thought when you go to pull your credit report I suggest that you only pull one report and score at a time once every four months. Since you can only pull each of the three once a year instead of pulling them at one time spread them out over the year so you can monitor your credit more closely.
